Traditional early 19th century french confit pot or 'Cruche'. this one is atypical of the south west gastronomic region of France where this was found.These terracotta part glazed pots become highly collectable for their aesthetic beauty A beautiful pot fit to adorn the smartest country kitchen, but equally works placed in a modern contemporary setting. The pot is in overall very good condition with no cracks and only a couple of small chips the Mustard tin glaze is pot marked and crazed.
